As a grassroots creative leadership programme for girls, Sisterhood is all heart and all hustle. When they set out to rebuild their advisory board and expand partnerships, they knew they didn’t just need high-level input , they needed real, hands-on support. Polly Dhaliwal stepped in to deliver both.
With her background in leadership, partnerships, and purpose-led growth, Polly helped Sisterhood navigate tough strategic decisions, refine their partner approach, and gain confidence in how they bring commerce and cause together.
Sisterhood is a UK-based creative social enterprise that helps girls aged 13–17 unlock their potential through design, storytelling, and leadership programmes. From schools to cultural institutions, Sisterhood partners with organisations to create bold spaces where young women can build confidence, creativity, and community.
At a pivotal growth point, Sisterhood was rebuilding its advisory board and looking to expand its partnerships but with a lean team and limited capacity, it needed advisors who could get stuck in, not just offer passive guidance.
They were seeking support that combined strategic thinking with practical action — someone who could help refine their direction, shape compelling proposals, and guide them through partnership conversations with clarity and calm.
Polly Dhaliwal joined Sisterhood as an adviser, but quickly became a hands-on partner in the organisation’s growth. Her support included:
“Polly helped Sisterhood have more confidence in our approach to bringing commerce and cause together.”
Polly’s presence helped transform meetings, sharpen outreach strategies, and boost internal clarity, including one standout moment that led to a new partnership and upcoming workshop.
Rebuilt advisory board with clearer expectations
Strategic input on key meetings and proposals
Secured new partnership (launching July 2025)
Increased confidence in partner storytelling and communications
“Her direct line of questioning in a key meeting ensured we walked away with clarity and an offer they couldn’t refuse.”
With a growing network of collaborators and a clearer sense of how to combine impact and income, Sisterhood is entering its next chapter with more momentum and stronger strategic foundations.
Polly continues to offer trusted advice, practical input, and a refreshingly human approach to growth.
If you’re building something that sits at the intersection of mission and scale, Polly can help you make it sustainable — and successful. Her mix of strategy, storytelling, and support is designed for teams like yours.
Let’s build something meaningful — together.
