Sisterhood

Sisterhood finds strategic momentum with hands-on guidance

As a grassroots creative leadership programme for girls, Sisterhood is all heart and all hustle. When they set out to rebuild their advisory board and expand partnerships, they needed real, hands-on support. Polly stepped in to deliver both.

About Sisterhood

Sisterhood is a UK-based creative social enterprise that helps girls aged 13–17 unlock their potential through design, storytelling and leadership programmes. From schools to cultural institutions, Sisterhood creates bold spaces where young women build confidence, creativity and community.

The challenge

At a pivotal growth point, Sisterhood was rebuilding its advisory board and looking to expand partnerships but with a lean team and limited capacity, it needed advisors who could get stuck in, not just offer passive guidance.

How Polly helped

  • Advising on strategic direction, especially around partnership outreach and storytelling
  • Attending and co-leading meetings with potential collaborators and funders
  • Offering actionable insights grounded in commercial experience
  • Providing feedback on applications, proposals and programme design
  • Modelling curiosity-led questioning that helped secure a new partnership
Polly helped Sisterhood have more confidence in our approach to bringing commerce and cause together.

The results

  • Rebuilt advisory board with clearer expectations
  • Strategic input on key meetings and proposals
  • Secured a new partnership
  • Increased confidence in partner storytelling and communications

With a growing network of collaborators and a clearer sense of how to combine impact and income, Sisterhood is entering its next chapter with more momentum and stronger strategic foundations.
