Life In Product

About Me

I’m Polly, founder of Life in Product

Hello

I’m Polly Dhaliwal, founder of Life in Product, and a passionate leader in product development, innovation, and community-building. With extensive experience in startups, product management, and digital transformation, I thrive on simplifying complex challenges to create exceptional user experiences. I’ve worked with leading brands, scaled startups, and built vibrant communities, including my role as COO at Enterprise Nation, where I’ve supported over 140,000 small businesses. Alongside this, I’m the founder of Girls in Movement, a not-for-profit organisation empowering young girls to access education.

My Story

I’m the founder of Life in Product, where I help businesses simplify their product journeys and create meaningful experiences for users. With a background in marketing and sales, I’ve worked with global brands to refine product-market fit, blending strategy with innovation.

My journey started in the startup world, where I worked across legal tech, edtech, and adtech ventures—successfully exiting one and gaining invaluable lessons from another. Today, I serve as the COO of Enterprise Nation, leading a thriving community of over 1 million small businesses, helping them scale with the right support and digital tools.

Beyond my passion for product and business growth, I founded Girls in Movement, a not-for-profit empowering young girls in remote areas with access to education and leadership opportunities. I also host a top-rated podcast, engaging over 20,000 listeners, featuring industry leaders like Stacey Dooley, Nihal, and Steel Banglez.

I’m also a board member at Sisterhood, supporting young women in designing their futures, and I collaborate with FundLife on the Girl Got This initiative—championing opportunities for underrepresented communities.

Through Life in Product, my mission is to build a space for product peers, founders, and businesses to craft simple, impactful journeys—because great products don’t need complexity, just clarity.

Professional Journey

Enterprise Nation – Chief Operating Officer

As the COO of Enterprise Nation, I helped grow a small business support platform from 6,000 members to over 140,000. I worked closely with our CEO and CTO to deliver projects with some of the world's top tech companies, while managing a team of 10 individuals across engineering, UX/UI, and data. I played a key role in securing multi-million-pound contracts and launching the UK’s first business support app.

Startup Success and Learning

My startup journey has been both rewarding and filled with learning opportunities. I’ve worked across legal tech, ad tech, and ed tech startups, successfully exiting one company while gaining valuable insights from another. This hands-on experience in fast-paced environments has shaped my product and leadership skills, enabling me to take an idea from concept to market.

Girls in Movement

In addition to my professional career, I founded Girls in Movement, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to empowering young girls through education, mentorship, and access to opportunities. What started as a small initiative has now grown into a global movement, reaching over 10,000 girls across multiple regions, with a strong presence in India.

Through strategic partnerships, mentorship programmes, and leadership training, Girls in Movement is breaking down barriers for young women in remote and underprivileged areas. Our goal is to equip the next generation of female leaders with the skills, confidence, and resources they need to succeed—whether in business, technology, or leadership roles.

With continued support from our investors and partners, as well as growing international recognition, our vision is to scale this impact even further—helping 1 million girls worldwide achieve their potential.

Join us in shaping the future. Together, we are the movement.

Board Member and Mentor

Sisterhood Board

I am proud to sit on the board of Sisterhood, an organisation dedicated to empowering young girls to design their place in the world, build confidence, and develop essential skills for their future. Through creative education, mentorship, and community-led initiatives, Sisterhood helps young women unlock their potential and step into leadership roles.

In addition, I actively collaborate with FundLife on the Girl Got This campaign, which focuses on providing underprivileged girls access to education and sport as a pathway to economic independence. By equipping young women with the tools, mentorship, and opportunities they need, we are creating a generation of changemakers who are ready to shape their own futures.

My work with Sisterhood and FundLife aligns with my deep-rooted passion for breaking barriers, increasing representation, and championing opportunities for young women globally. Whether through mentorship, programme design, or storytelling, I strive to amplify the voices of the next generation of female leaders.
